Over the last couple of years Don’t Divide Us (DDU), a grassroots organisation, has been punching above its weight with successes in raising issues in the media and with politicians. To capitalise on this and to move to a more professional footing we are in the process of appointing new members to the team. Our immediate focus is on schools and impartiality in education.
To make sure that we are not missing any opportunities and that everything we do is properly researched and targeted we are establishing an advisory board drawn from media, politics, education and academia.
If you stand with us, united against racially divisive policies in the UK, and feel you can bring some experience and scrutiny to what we do then we would love to hear from you. Just email team@dontdivideus.com We’ve already had interest from prominent parties but we are keen to open the recruitment process more widely. We envisage the board will meet quarterly. For now, these positions are unsalaried (although reasonable expenses will be met) as we have limited resources. We hope your interest in DDU will be driven by conviction and that you will be rewarded by becoming a vital part of our campaign to ensure we maintain open debate around issues of race in the UK.
