Local anti-democracy in action: Brighton and Hove

DDU supporter, Adrian Hart, writing here for The Brighton Society, provides a detailed, eye-opening illustration of how local town hall technocratic elites treat the people they are supposed to represent with disdain.  From imposing building plans that are intended for someone’s benefit, but not the majority of local residents, to a plan to turn all schools in Brighton and Hove into beacons of active ‘anti-racist’  ideology, it seems local councillors really see themselves as on a mission to enlighten their lessers:

Where generations of anti-racists fought to place ‘race’ in the dustbin of history, CRT is determined to reinstate it. Thus, CRT racialises all our interpersonal relations finding an abundance of ‘microaggressions’ while asserting the invisible presence of unconscious racism.
