Template Letter – CRT in Universities

This fantastic template letter comes from DDU supporter Diana Durham. We urge all our supporters to write to Kemi Badenoch and Nadhim Zahawi!

Dear Ms Badenoch and Nadhim Zahawi

Are you aware of the influence of Advance HE in disseminating corrosive and divisive ideas in higher education that teach students our universities are ’structurally racist’?  And are you aware that Advance HE is a publicly funded body?

Here is a link to a report that the organisation Don’t Divide Us wrote  on Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter:

For Equality, Against the Race Equality Charter – Don’t Divide Us Responds To Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter – Don’t Divide Us

Having read some of Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter, I realise that they are training teachers to teach Critical Race Theory as a valid, accepted and authoritative context in which, and about which, teachers should be trained, in order to pass it on to students. They are embedding CRT and its attendant doctrines in institutional HR and training policies, as well as within faculty department reviews of curricula and pedagogy.

University education departments should  not be teaching future teachers something which I heard Ms Badenoch stand up in parliament and say was illegal. How is it possible then, that Advance HE are publicly funded and who can swiftly authorise defunding them or taking them to court?

This is a link to Don’t Divide Us’s overview:

Race Equality Charter will re-racialise UK universities – Don’t Divide Us

To be effective in dealing with the assault on our culture, history and legacy, you must go to the source of the attack. And it appears that it is us, the public, most of whom are so appalled by what is happening, who are, without agreement, funding it!

Do something!

Sincerely

Diana Durham
