Pupils are being subjected to a “radical script” in the teaching of a controversial racial ideology that teaches contested political beliefs as fact, a new report has warned.
Impartiality laws are being broken in schools as critical race theory — or the idea that racism is entrenched in society — is taught by third-party providers, the pressure group Don’t Divide Us said.
It claimed that the curriculum was being “re-racialised” with the providers’ political beliefs creating “a relationship between schools and ideologically motivated businesses”.

Schools are being taken over by organisations teaching controversial ‘anti-racism’ theories, a report warned yesterday.
In some classrooms, pupils are taking part in tests to check their ‘unconscious bias’, according to campaign group Don’t Divide Us.
In the online surveys, children are asked if they understand the term ‘white privilege’ and what they would do if a teacher mispronounces the name of a Middle Eastern student.
Staff are then given advice by external provider Flair on how they can make their school more inclusive, such as by introducing a ‘restorative justice approach’ for those involved in telling offensive jokes or ‘micro-aggressions’.

Church of England school pupils are being taught that they benefit from white privilege, a report has found.
Teachers at schools in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich have been told to teach pupils that they “benefit from the systematic oppression of People of Colour through racist policies and practice”.
Teaching guidance issued by the diocese, which oversees 87 schools, states that pupils should learn that white privilege means they are “the dominant representation on all media”, “no one questions your citizenship”, “you may have inherited power and wealth”, and “your actions aren’t perceived to be those of your entire race”.
It adds: “To combat white privilege, keep learning about what it is, amplify the voices of People of Colour, be more than just ‘not racist’ but actively ‘anti-racist’ and confront racial injustices even when it feels uncomfortable.”

Children in Church of England schools are being taught a ‘pyramid of white supremacy’ anti-racism theory that tells them that ‘avoiding confrontation’ can lead to genocide.
The theory is displayed in a graphic put together by the US-based Equality Institute, which describes itself as a ‘global feminist agency working to advance gender equality and end violence against women and girls.’
The graphic features in a document titled ‘responding to racism’ that was compiled by the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich and uncovered by campaigning group Don’t Divide Us.

The Church of England has been criticised for teaching pupils about white privilege in anti-racism guidance issued to educators.
Resources produced by the Diocese of Coventry to teach about racism in schools encourages educators to teach pupils that their white privilege allows them to “benefit from the systematic oppression of People of Colour through racist policies and practice,” and that white privilege means “no one questions your citizenship” or harasses you “just for existing in public places”. The material has also been issued to teachers in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
It suggests that white privilege be combatted through education, by “amplifying the voices of People of Colour”, and being “more than just ‘not racist’ but actively ‘anti-racist’ and confronting racial injustices.”
White pupils excluded from extra Saturday literacy lessons

White pupils have been excluded from extra weekend literacy classes at schools in North London, The Telegraph can reveal.
Parents at a primary school in Haringey have been told that schools will fund Saturday school places for children from black and black heritage families to “accelerate progress in reading and writing whilst also developing the children’s knowledge of black history and culture”.
However, no comparable offer was made for white pupils despite parents arguing that evidence shows white working-class boys have fallen behind their peers.

Nick Miller was horrified when a WhatsApp message from his child’s primary school arrived in September offering only its black pupils extra lessons to improve their reading and writing.
The message, sent from the inclusion and anti-racism group to all Year 4 parents at Coldfall Primary School in Muswell Hill, north London, invited “black and black-heritage children” to join the two-hour online sessions on Saturday mornings. White children were not invited.
Miller, 46, who works in professional services, had a “horrible sinking feeling” as soon as he saw the message. “I knew this was wrong and unfair,” he said. “And I knew I had a fight on my hands.”

Haringey Council defends black children’s Saturday classes

School classes aimed at black children have been defended by a council amid complaints the practice is “divisive”.
One parent with a child at Coldfall Primary School in Muswell Hill, north London, said it was discriminatory that Haringey Council was paying for black children to go to the Saturday classes.
An independent investigator did not uphold the claim.
The council said the initiative was aimed at black students but was open to all ethnicities.

To many, the question in the headline seems like a no-brainer. In the superficial and binary mode that characterises much of today’s public thinking, a negative answer could only mean that you think schools should be racist. This may be one reason why, as the new report by Don’t Divide Us – Who Are the Experts? An investigation into anti-racist third-party organisation in schools – shows, third-party anti-racist organisations are being invited into schools by heads, Senior Leaders and Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) working groups. The activist educators who work at these organisations, many of which are for-profit companies, are not shy of promoting the idea that merely to have no problem of racism in a school is insufficient; schools need to be actively anti-racist.

‘The ‘anti-racism’ movement started off very small and no one heard about it for a couple of years,’ he told the Mail this week.
‘But now they’ve upped the ante. If they start offering classes to black children only, then soon we could be looking at black-only days out, black-only lunch sittings or white children standing up in class to admit their ‘guilt’.
All of this stuff is already happening in the U.S., Australia and Canada — and that’s what we’re heading for.’
